SKOPE OF WORK Renovation and extensions to two existing two-storey industrial buildings totalling over 3000m2 and conversion to architecturally designed offices, including kitchens, meeting and break out rooms, open plan offices, storage, carparks and landscaping.
Initial interior demolition made way for steel portals, concrete precast panels, new electrical, data and security services and the exteriors were reclad in Titan board and profiled metal cladding. Features included lift shafts, wind lobbies and an atrium.
CHALLENGES A tight timeframe meant elements of the conversion and fit out required work had to be carried out simultaneously, requiring strict adherance to the building programme, clear communication and a cohesive working relationships with the design team and subcontractors.
HIGHLIGHTS Meeting the client's deadlines and seeing innovative architectural design elements being enjoyed by the tennants.
