SKOPE OF WORK To build two commercial tenancies using a mixture of precast concrete walls and timber framing.

CHALLENGES Once we began excavating the foundations it became obvious that the ground was not very sound.  This meant a redesign of the foundations, resulting in an increased amount of work and less time to do it. By convincing the subcontractors to work out of sequence (and sometimes out of their comfort zones) we were able to reduce the delay from three months to two weeks.

HIGHLIGHTS Overcoming a tight timeframe with the help of loyal subcontractors and lateral thinking.
